Mr. Davidson has been a Senior Systems Analyst for The Walsh Group since 1997. He plays an integral role in the company’s Research & Development work, which includes designing and developing software and systems for projects spanning the company’s areas of research.
Prior to his employment at The Walsh Group, Mr. Davidson worked in private industry developing specialized systems for the Navy, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Sentencing Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency, Arlington County, and the City of Alexandria.
Mr. Davidson also worked for the Bureau of Naval Personnel where he supervised the development of the Navy’s Alcohol and Drug Management Information Tracking System (ADMITS). The ADMITS program was used to collect information regarding drug testing/detection, deterrence, and treatment of Navy personnel. He also developed interface software for Navy Drug Screening Laboratories, Counseling and Assistance Centers, Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers, and the Navy Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program. While in this position, Mr. Davidson garnered extensive experience with substance abuse issues and strengthened his expertise in managing large databases.
Mr. Davidson began his career as a computer operator for the Navy. During his civil service career he held Systems Analysis and Programming positions for the U.S. Air Force, the Economic Stabilization Program, the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Education, and the U.S. Navy.
